Finishing up the 11 Signs that you probably grew up with a narcissistic mother:
- You probably grew up with a narcissistic mother is her superficial image which is a little different from just feeling grandiose, she actually works hard to prove to others that she is a loving and caring mother but is a different person behind closed doors.
- Sign number eight that you probably grew up with a narcissistic parent is that she is threatened by your potential and success because it challenges her self-esteem. Can we say pure jealousy? To add to this, a narcissistic mom believes that no one is better than her, so when someone starts proving to be more successful and people become aware of the success, she will start to feel threatened. In return, she’ll do whatever she can to lower your self-esteem.
9. Sign number 9 that you probably grew up with a narcissistic parent is every conversation is about her.
- Sign number 10 that you probably grew up with a narcissistic mom is she is well-liked, but only for a period of time. Narcissists struggle to maintain healthy relationships.
11. And the last sign that you grew up with a narcissistic mother is that you have ALWAYS felt unstable in your life. You never knew which mom you would get. You feel anxious a lot and have a hard time coping with trauma in a healthy way.
